High Performance Mindset Coaching for Athletes

Athleticism is a true form of ability. Not only that…it is the ultimate teacher. Through sports we can learn:
How to win
How to lose
Grace for ourselves, teammates, and opponents
Failing forward
Hard work
Grit
Determination
Perseverance
CONFIDENCE
…and so much more…

Nearly every team or individual, regardless of the sport, puts in countless hours of work trying to master their skillset so they can get that “competitive edge.” They know someone, somewhere out there is doing the same thing to gain the advantage. But what happens when your competition has put in the same (or more) hours into their skills on the playing field? Where will your competitive advantage come from?

While mastering your sport’s skills is an essential part of wining, SKILLSET is simply the surface of an athlete’s wheelhouse. The thing that will take you from good, to great, to elite, is your MINDSET. And here’s the thing…most coaches and programs rarely train on mindset because they simply do not know how to.

I do.

Imagine if you combined your skillset with a rock solid mindset…There are no limits to the things you could accomplish!

This is where I come in…

The Commit Methodology

I have three 2021 State Champion gymnasts. Want to see how they did it?

Inner Coach

When you peel back all the layers of the gymnasiums, fields, fans, parents, competitors, noises, and coaches…all that’s left is your own inner voice — or your “Inner Coach.” THIS is the voice that will push you through your fear, through your hurdles, or through your doubts. In contrast, it’s also the voice that will sabotage your progress.

Your voice is the most powerful, believable voice on the planet. It is the voice that has talked you in to or out of everything you have or haven’t accomplished in your life. With proper training and technique, your inner coach will be vital in helping you carry out your athletic goals.

Fun fact…this transcends sports. Once prolific, this will guide you through everything in your life.

Subconscious

Have you ever been on the court/field and found yourself with the ball in your hands, your teammates looking at you, the clock counting down, the crowd cheering, and it’s up to you to win or lose the game? Then your mind, all of a sudden, has a moment and you question whether or not you can perform what needs to be done…

Or perhaps you’ve been in a high pressure competition where you need to perform a routine or skill to the absolute best of your ability, but you’re freaking out about the pressure, the competitors, not wanting to mess-up, not wanting to let anyone down, etc…

These are the types of “human” moments that are common occurrences for athletes. It might be up to you to score the winning goal for your team. You might need to nail your beam routine in order to take home the gold. You might even have the first place trophy in the bag, and all you have to do is finish your race without any hiccups.

I promise you, if your subconscious isn’t programmed to kick in at these moments…your conscious brain will take over, and that’s when the mistakes can start to happen.

LifeVision

A LifeVision is a customized, one-of-a-kind game plan where we bring all of the pieces of “The Commit Methodology” together — inner coach, programming your subconscious, building your confidence, and solidifying your mindset.

More specifically, a LifeVision is a detailed plan of your perfect, athletic life. It is written in first person AS IF your goals are happening right now (in the present tense).

There are 2 keys to the success of this process…
1) Recording your LifeVision using your own voice. Remember, your voice is the most powerful and believable voice ON THE PLANET!
2) Adding scientifically-proven music, that puts your mind in an alpha-state-of-mind — dramatically increasing your ability to boost creativity, reduce stress, and program your goals into your subconscious mind.

This unique combination of goals, your voice, confidence, and self worth creates a solid foundation for, not just your athlete, but your child.
