For my mamas out there…
LOVE YOURSELF
Perfection.
What a loaded word. Am I right?
“Perfection” seems to be that ever-elusive, unrealistic standard we set for ourselves — knowing we will never meet it!
It’s all about the perfect:

House
Family
Marriage
Children…
It’s unrealistic and exhausting. I think in some cases it’s even flat-out dangerous to try and live up to these “standards.”
I feel that one of the most powerful scriptures we have, can be found in the book of Matthew. It says…
“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”
- Matthew 22 : 37-39 -
With all the people who rely on and need mamas, I hope you always remember this — you must love yourself FIRST.
“You are loved! Massively. Ferociously. Unconditionally. The Universe is totally freaking out about how awesome you are! It wants YOU to see what it sees in you.
— Jen Sincero
